PROCESS PAPER

My partner and I choose to do the NHD project on “The Invention of the Telegraph”. In order to find research based on our topic my partner and I split the information that we needed to find. For example, from the bullet point I researched the first 2 points and he researched the last 3 points. We used websites such as History.com and Time.com. We chose this topic due to the fact that we were in online school through zoom and google meets which in general gave us a motivation in tackling the harder parts of this project. This inspired us to choose the topic “The Invention of the Telegraph” since without the Telephone we wouldn't be able to have technology like this and the invention of the telegraph is what sparked and started the further and easier communication across the globe. “The Invention of the Telegraph” relates to this year's theme of communication because it relates to to making of a tool or device which sparked communicating easier across America and the world which began the invention of even easier ways of communication such as the telephone.
